The Perfect Time to Cleanse Our Body and Mind
As we’re a few months into the New Year, now is a great time to reflect and refocus our hopes and goals for the remaining months to come.
If you vowed to live a healthier life in 2017, recharging your mind and body can be a helpful way to start. Consider these easy steps:
Make time for relaxation. Even if it’s just a few minutes each day, practicing mindful relaxation through breathing can reduce stress on your body.
Clean out your refrigerator. If you have accumulated some not so healthy foods, now is the perfect time to toss them.
Enjoy the outdoors. Aim for a twenty-minute walk each day.

How to Kick Your Reliance on Pain Medication
For everyone, popping a pill is much easier than addressing the real cause of pain. If you deal with frequent aches in your body that typically cause you to reach for some type of over the counter pill, balm or electronic device, here are a few tips for overcoming the reliance.
Stretch each morning and evening. Stretching is a great way to loosen up our body and even releases endorphins that can make us feel better.
Be conscious of how long you’re sitting. If you’re sitting for long periods, set a timer on your phone to get up and move so your muscles get some much-needed activity. Over-sitting can actually lead to pinched nerves and pain.
Stay hydrated. Did you know that the majority of the world’s population doesn’t drink enough water each day? This can lead to dehydrated muscles, causing more aches and pains than you may realize.

I love this Kerry. Just wanted to let you know, I printed it out and post it up at work and home to remind myself and my daughter of these important things. We've been able to spend more time together live a healthier life style as she and i remind each other to take a break and stretch or go for a walk and not worry about every thing we didnt get to do today, because it will still be there tomorrow. We love it and thank you for reminding us to stay healthy and enjoy life with out all the chaos. Xoxo
