Avoid relapse with regular visits.

Regular Visits

Typical office visits begin from the second you walk into our comfortable setting.

You will be greeted and taken back to an adjustment suite as soon as Dr. Woods is available for you. All 6 of our suites are like a room at a day spa. There is soft relaxation music specifically chosen to aid in putting you at total ease. Dimly lit rooms with wafting aroma therapy scents to help you unwind.

If you are to have some physical therapy then it will usually be applied first and take about 10-15 minutes.

After that, Dr. Woods will see you. He will often ask you a few simple questions to gauge your progress, analyze your spine and make a comfortable adjustment that is specific to what is found that day. Adjustments are very specific and take just a few minutes. Dr. Woods will often engage you in thought-provoking questions to keep moving you toward being "Wellness" conscious.

Avoid relapse with regular visits.

Another wonderful add on to your visits may be with our in-house Massage therapist. You may choose body work in 15 minute increments with 60 minutes being the most common. This is a great way to reduce any muscle tension before you receive your corrective adjustment.

On your way out you will stop by the front desk and pick up any recommendations Dr. Woods has for you or supplements. You will confirm your next appointment and make sure your payment arrangements are taken care of.   Finally, we encourage you to ask questions. Patients who do almost always get better results.

Dr. Kerry Asks some important questions of interest to Whittier residents - Chiropractor Whittier Dr. Kerry Asks...

Do nerves actually get pinched?
Chiropractors recognize two types of nerve disorders involved in subluxation. The least common is a pinched nerve that diminishes nerve supply to an affected organ or tissue. More common is the irritated nerve (facilitative lesion) which overexcites nerve communications to an affected organ or tissue. Chiropractic care has been shown to help with both types.
What controls your pulse, blood pressure and cholesterol?
Conventional health care focuses on the various aspects of your blood. But these are merely effects. Chiropractic focuses on the integrity of your nervous system that controls, regulates and monitors every aspect of your circulatory system, every aspect of your body and every person in Whittier.
